Come Summer
Summer came. The months have come and gone, like time and tide.
I was hired by Kelly Kampen on March 1st, 2005. On my first day I was dressed in my typical office business attire, quickly learning that the company I was managing for him was a creative unit and rugged casual was the norm. Every morning I took the train to work, which is a football slash wrestling match slugfest just to get a morning ride so I could get there on time.
There was a delicate balance I constantly maintained. The home budget, my family's needs, and my plans for the future. I wasn't the same kind of spender that I was in Cevera. The future was always uncertain, my security depended solely on God and faith that I would be led.
I spent most of the weekend with my family and relatives. I wanted to be more generous with my time and shared what I could manage to share. On Sunday we went to the nearby clubhouse and the kids had a great time at the poolside. The weather was good, the sun kept behind the clouds. The wind was a bit chilly. Food was abundant and I took lots of pictures.
